Annapurna Balcony trek known as Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. Where you can be seen many different kinds of culture of people in every village and it offers you traditional living style of different ethnic groups of the Gurung, Magar, and Thakali people, who will greet and welcoming you friendly and also absolutely wonderful views and range of Himalaya can be seen at the background surrounding by rhododendron.
Ghorepani Poonhill trek is one of the most famous and short treks in Annapurna region. From Pokhara you’ll travel to the Nayapul for the start of this five days trek. over five days you’ll trek through green meadows scattered with small village and colorful rhododendron forest to Ghorepani, where high mountain peaks reach up above the surrounding hills. The highest point of this trek is 3210m at Poonhill and this is the best viewpoint of this trek, from where you can see Sunrise, the whole Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri panorama views. This is the one of the best places among other trekking routes to see more and to learn more things within short duration where you can feel the paradise.

Trip Itinerary
Meeting at airport upon arrival by Adventure Connexion representative. Transfer to Hotel. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. Evening some briefing about Ghorepani Poonhill trek with trekking guide. Overnight at hotel.
Your Kathmandu sightseeing trip will start at 9AM in the morning after breakfast. We will provide a private vehicle and professional tour guide. We visit Pasupatinath temple, Buddhanath, Monkey temple and Kathmandu durbar square. Overnight at Hotel
Breakfast Included
After breakfast we’ll head to the airport, where we’ll take a short flight to Pokhara, the beautiful gateway town of the Himalayas. This is the first day of the actual trekking up the Annapurna Sanctuary. It is a true jungle experience that slowly opens up into terraced fields, waterfalls and stunning local culture. We will stay in a nice tea house and have hygienic food prepared by our excellent local cook.

The stone-paved trail climbs through forests to Deurali, atop a hill at 2150m, where there are views of Mount Annapurna South and Mount Hiunchuli. From here the trail descends steeply through forests with birds, ferns and orchids into huge side canyons of Modi River. You will descend past a couple of guesthouses and restaurants at a Gurung Villages and cross a stream at 1790m. Now the trail gently climbs to bring you to Tolka Village at 1810m where you will eat at your lunch and then descends a long staircase to a suspension bridge across a stream at 1720m. Now, you will have a gentle climb to the ridge top followed by easy walk past streams, fields, cross the suspension bridge an finally arrive at Landruk – a Gurung Village for overnight stay at Landruk . 6 hours trek.

The trail goes steeply down towards the river for an hour then there is a steep ascent for about 2-3 hours through scattered villages with beautiful views of the Himalayas. Eventually, reach Ghandrung, one of the largest Gurung settlements in Western Nepal. You can have good views of Gangapura, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Mount Annapurna and other snow-capped mountains. If time permits, visit the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) headquarters, the local museum and the village. Overnight at Gandruk (2050m).

You trek onwards to Tadapani through rhododendron forest. If you are lucky you will see some wild animals, such as langur monkeys climbing through the trees. There are excellent views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare from Tadapani. Overnight at Tadapani (2600m).

After breakfast it’s a short walk down to the stream and crossing wooden local made bridge and again followed by a 3 hour climb up to the steep ridge of Deurali for lunch and further walk to the top of Deurali pass (3160m/10365 ft). After an easy walk of around an hour, trails lead down to Ghorepani where we’ll stay for the tonight. This is popular place for around and can see good panoramic view of the Mt. Dhaulagiri range and explore around. Overnight at Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft) 5-6 hrs walk.

From Ghorepani trek to Poon hill 3210m in the morning (about 5.00 a.m) for the sunrise view to see the great mountain view, Then after spending some time with view of mountain Dhaulagiri range and Annapurna range, return back to Ghorepani for the breakfast then trek down hill to Hile about 6 hours . The trail from Ghorepani first gradually down hill through to Ulleri then step down hill to hile. Overnight at Hile 1400m.

Today, we are going to end our trek at Nayapul followed by a short drive back to Sarangkot. Where our trek ends and we can enjoy a shower and relax on this stunning lakeside town enjoying the memories!. Overnight at Sarangkot (1600m).

In morning you may walk on hill and watch mountain view, beautiful view of Pokhara city, Phewa lake, back to hotel take breakfast and then Hike down to pokhara (914m) this takes approximately three hours. Rest time for Pokhara boadting and shopping time. Overnight at Pokhara

After took a breakfast, We will do a short pokhara sightseeing tour and fly back to Kathmandu. A late morning flight back to the capital and the time is yours to spend relaxing in Kathmandu or you can do a final shopping in touristy area of Thamel.
